Qualifications:

Applicants who have obtained or are pursuing a GIS degree or certificate and/or with GIS work experience are preferred. Applicants must also be enrolled at an institution of higher education or within two years post-graduation. Hiring preference given to current or recent Southern Utah University (SUU) students. Prior to starting this position, a federal government security background clearance will be required. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident.

Skills Needed: Strong working knowledge of ESRI GIS software products (ArcPro and ArcGIS Online); Knowledge of geography concepts (scale, precision/accuracy, datums, coordinate systems, etc.); Knowledge of GPS technology and cartographic experience.
